TWO-DAY LIVE SEMINAR
FLORIDA CONTRACTOR COURSE A (taught on DAY 1) & FLORIDA CONTRACTOR COURSE B (taught on DAY 2)
Contractors complete the 14 hour C.E. requirement when taking the Two-Day Live Seminar. Course A includes CILB mandatory 1-hour requirements in Advanced Building Code, Business Practices, Laws & Rules, Workplace Safety and Workers Compensation and (2) general hours. Course B includes CILB mandatory 1-hour C.E. requirement in Wind Mitigation and (6) general hours. Electrical Contractors taking Course A only will receive 6 of the 14 required C.E. hours. Course A for Electrical will include the 1-hour requirement in Advanced Building Code, Business Practices, Workplace Safety, Workers Compensation and 2 general hours. NEW: Electrical Contractors effective as of 2016 a 1-hour mandatory c.e. requirement in Laws & Rules, Chapter 489 Part II. This 1 hour pertains to the Electrical Contractor only and is not taught in the Live Seminar. Required hour available on our website as online course only. 7-hours of mandatory Technical C.E. is required for all "E" license holders and we do not cover this in the Live Seminar. We recommend a Home Study Book or Online courses to complete this technical requirement. Home Inspectors complete 7 hours only of "General" continuing education requirements by taking the two-day seminar. The remaining 7 hours of c.e for Home Inspectors (5 hrs. general & 2 hrs. hurricane mitigation) are Online Courses- this available package for H.I. can be found on our website. Miami Dade Licensed Contractors complete 14 c.e. hours of the required 16. We have several 1 hour online courses meeting Miami Dade approval to complete the c.e. requirement. Professional Engineers will receive 4 PDH credits in Areas of Practice by taking the two-day seminar.

Class Times are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm both days, with a 1 hour lunch break from Noon to 1:00 pm. Our lawyers from Niesen, Price, Worthy, Campo (NPW-Law.com) will be teaching Laws & Rules/CILB requirement
